K- 9 Copper Male Bloodhound 3 years old Partner : Deputy Wilkins Deputy Wilkins and K-9 Copper have become so well known and respected that other Law enforcement agencies started new bloodhound teams have requested the assistance and advice of Deputy Wilkins. In training. Their K-9 team conducts numerous public demonstrations for schools, civic organizations and community events explaining their roles as a K-9 team. For their dedication to duty, commitment to excellence and their ability to make our community a better and safer place to live, Deputy Robert Wilkins and K-9 Copper were nominated for the 2008 American Kennel Club Award of Canine Excellence and won 1st Place Runner-up Honorable mention! |
